HeRO in the News:
Neonatal heart monitor can save lives, study finds
Aug. 25, 2011

Medical Predictive Science Corporation (MPSC) is engaged in the development of computational diagnostic and bioinformatic technologies for the healthcare industry. Our HeRO® System represents the leading edge of what MPSC sees as a family of innovative diagnostic tools.

HeRO works in conjunction with the existing physiological monitoring system to quantify heart rate variability. Heart rate variability can be used as a measure of neonatal distress. This is achieved through the continuous collection of heart rate information and the characterization of decreased baseline variability and transient decelerations.

If you are a parent of an infant who received HeRO monitoring, we ask that you register to SHARE your experience through the March Of Dimes®.

Important safety information: HeRO is designed for neonatal patients. A low HeRO Score should never be used to deny or withhold treatment.
